The Kalyon Master Plan, located in Istanbul, Turkey, is an expansive mixed-use development spanning 282,000m². Combining high- and middle-income housing, a shopping mall, and a municipal services building, the project reflects a modern urban vision. Designed in 2016 and currently in progress, it emphasizes a harmonious integration of residential and public spaces, fostering a dynamic and interconnected community.
As Senior Architect, Mehtap Kocaman played a pivotal role in developing the housing settlement concept and managing design development. Her responsibilities included modeling building structures, preparing detailed construction documents, coordinating with consultants, and monitoring construction progress. Through meticulous design and planning, the Kalyon Master Plan stands as a forward-thinking approach to large-scale urban development, blending functionality with aesthetic harmony.
